The Depth and Multiplane Camera nodes

You use the Depth and Multiplane Camera nodes to set up a multiplane scene:

• The Depth node takes a plane of a multiplane scene as input, and sets its depth within the scene. You can change this from frame to frame, so planes - such as a running character - can move to the front or back of the scene.

Its output must be connected to a Multiplane Camera node.

• The Multiplane Camera node replaces the standard Camera node. It sets the position, depth, angle of rotation and field of view of the multiplane camera.

All the inputs to the Multiplane Camera node must come from Depth nodes. It composites these input planes according to their depth and position, rather than the order in which they are connected to the input channel.
